Luminous Earth Clayworks is a community of artists working under the
direction of sculptor Robin Whiteman. Before developing Luminous
Earth, Robin taught ceramics at museums, public schools, and pottery
coops, and received her degree from the School for American Crafts at
RIT.  Her  work has been highlighted in City newspaper and Lake
Effect magazine, and shown extensively.
Ceramic sculpture is the specialty of the studio, although pottery
instruction is available for all skill levels.  Students are encouraged to
work independently, developing their unique style in an informal,
supportive environment.  The studio is located at the historic Lower
Mill's
Mill Art Center in Honeoye Falls, NY and serves students from
Pittsford, Mendon, Lima, Honeoye, and Rochester, NY.  Studio rental is
available for those with some clay experience.  Call or email if
interested.
